That is dangerous to assume you know the outcome before the last piece is played. It was an obvious trap, but she fell for it. No wonder she is an abandoned concubine.

Awkward moment when Rokan probably already broke through, knows one his deathsworn is a spy, and is just waiting to kill everyone that acts. Even more awkward moment when we know mommy dearest just said **** waiting, and is either about to breakthrough, or just kill all the God level cultivators anyways.

It's the best to accept gambits like Blackmar-Diemer. Most of the gambits lead only to a lost pawn with superficial activity, especially if the opponent knows these openings well. In various media checkmate is delivered with only on move in critical positions, sometimes they think even for a prolonged time. This is just unlikely, if you're not an beginner. It would be better to include an forced sequence with more moves to checkmate.

From what I see, Concubine Sisrelis had forgotten that of the Duke is really that naive, then how did he go from a commoner to a Duke without dying.
