Is she so immature that she had to actually reply to them instead of just leaving like she was going to in the first place? Like honestly, I can't see what she did as anything but stupid. Not brave, but just stupid and unnecessary. What did she even expect to happen? Good fuckin' lord. We only 3 chapters in and this MC already disappointing me. I hope this will not be a reoccurring theme, of the MC's overconfidence and cockiness causing issues and getting her and everyone around her in trouble.

Arrogance is not an admirable character trait. Face slapping only works because the mc is actually capable of walking the walk. Running your mouth and getting slapped down is the behaviour of cliche villains who are literally designed to make us hate them.
