You are right author. Though there are warnings about them nobody pays heed to it. I wish some of our fellow readers will be careful with these things and hopefully take the warning you gave us and will tell to their fellow mates to be aware of this. Thank you for your warnings. You are a very good author and I will always support this work of yours and will always support you. thank you dear author for spending your valuable time for giving us this wonderful story. 😘😘😍😍👍👌❤️❤️💙
I never tried tampons, and I think never will. 😥😥 I'm too scared to try tampons. 🙁😥 and FOR ME every time I'm imagining it if I put it inside, it's awkward and I overthink what if the string of tampons suddenly break while I'm going to pull it out, 😥 when I read the previous chapter, I felt weak of what happened to Sarah and when the OB pulled out the old tampon... 😥😥😥
It's not just tampons but also sanitary pads or anything else you are using... its should be changed after every 4-5 hour, maximum 6 hours. Although there are advertisements of some high brands saying it would last more than 8 hours or a day... it's simple....that it's not healthy no matter how long it will last. And never feel ashamed for this, it's high time for all the women in the world to come forward and bring the needed change in the society for betterment of our youngers generation.
I'm glad that the author has written about this problem. People are ignorant about the risks of using the tampons and companies exploit this. It doesn't hep that menstruation is treated as a taboo topic and thus concerns are not addressed. Even the advertisements for menstrual products don't show blood cause it's taboo. Geez I hate it. When I first started my period, I had many complications and only after 2 months of treatment did I find out that it was caused due to my strong allergy medicine. I had to suffer like that due to the taboo associated with periods and thus my treatment was delayed. I have never used tampons but I have read about TSS. Women need to be more informed and cautious about the use of sanitary products. I'm really happy that this issue is given a spotlight in this story.
In my country, warning about TSS on sanitary products are a legal obligation. Sadly, not everybody actually takes time to properly read it. Teen are taught about the importance of condoms, the dangers of internet and social media and even contraception, but periods and their dangers are still pretty taboo. Girls and boys both should be made aware.
Im so glad the author brought this topic up. we women dont talk about this stuff, to most of periods are dreadful but as i grew up and became a mom, i realized periods are our friends (yeah i know the symptoms suck), but it is an indicator of health for women. I for one swear by pads and thats it. IMHO we shouldnt put products down there, inside us. its too scary for me. lets be strong women!!! Even if u use these products be very aware!!!!
