The 3rd princess must have been reborn as a baby. Even tho she was reborn, it shows that she doesn't even want the throne, which is a good decision. And I'm happy Alex doesn't want the throne as well. He knows it will be a problem getting into politics.

Somehow I got a feeling Alex will be pivotal in the battle protecting the kingdom and choosing its ruler. Furthermore I somehow think the 3rd Princess will be part of Alex Harem.

While I understand that Alex wants no parts in politics, that's no reason to hold onto his grudge and stay enemies with the second princess. He never has to join her faction or allow himself to be used, but if she's sincere in trying to mend their relationship, he shouldn't pointlessly feed into an unnecessary problem with her. It serves no purpose but to give chances for those who actually want to cause trouble with him to try something. There's no way he isn't smart enough to see this.
