Ohh my God!! Oh my beautiful loving God!!! This chapter, please tell me I'm not dreaming, Maxim The Great Cactus actually was like this, he definitely one kzillilion percent had an extremely special space for her in his heart, I wouldn't be surprised if he has a crush on her, oh wait he definitely does, how could he not?! How could they have drifted apart, after this I kinda feel that his behaviour towards her in the previous previous chapter wasn't justified at all, the way he said those things, he definitely hurt her feelings but then what made him become like that and how did he have the heart to say those things, well ya there's no denying he still cares for her but he's still cold and aloof, ya actually na, he hasn't changed he has always been like that he was cold on the outside but still cared just like he does now, he's probably hiding something, well maybe has a story of his own to tell about why they drifted apart, well if he still has the gift she gave him, he definitely was expecting the call, ahh they both had their own situations and circumstances that brought them to this stage of life. The way I have like soo many commas and so much to say, only if I paid so much of attention during my English and Afrikaans literature exams😅🥲.
