I can’t stop shaking my head at this. What kind of medically training does she have. Instead of doing abdominal thrust, she hits his back and then goes straight for a tracheotomy instead of cpr, which has the possibility of dislodging it without the drawback of performing a surgery in an unsterile environment. A tracheotomy should be the last resort.
Sometimes it’s really fun to read the comments, and patting the back with enough force it’s recomendable too, all depends in the age of the child, I know that because I received CPR training for kids 1-5. And this is a novel a work of fiction not real life, entertainment like watching mission impossible, thank you author for your work
This author must have watched that K-drama about the autistic but genius young MD student with extremely excellent photographic memory that can see the human body in 3D. Hahaha!!! But her moves were not reasonable. Even a Med student would know to remove anything that is lodged in the throat of its blocking the airway. And if the Patient is still unresponsive, do CPR. or in extreme case, do a small incision and intubate via the trachea. But even then, she can only do a small incision as she doesn’t have anything to help facilitate oxygenation. Cutting the trachea open just that is pointless as it opens the Patient to infection and bleeding.😤
