I know it's unfair but sometimes, I prefer not knowing the villain's miserable past because I always feel mixed emotions. I believe there's not a single person (whether it's a fictional character in a story or a genuine person in real life) who's naturally born as bad or evil. Every villain in a fictional story or every bad person in real life came to be who they are cause of their tough/traumatic experiences, rough environments or bad influences from the people around them. Nevertheless, no matter what they have experienced, it doesn't give them a legitimate excuse nor the right to do bad deeds. That's why I feel a whole lot of contradictory emotions whenever I learn about a villain's past đ€§đ©
