I liked the fact that Bloed could see the circumstances of his exile for what they really where. Also the fact that he rejected the queen due to the deep pain that he still feels , seems real too. But I think he is gonna pay for this act in the future. I don't know if the price is gonna be big or small or if it will take a long time before he pays it or a short time. But he will. That is because he wasn't the only one who suffered during those years and even before that. In this novel there seem to exist karma and poetic justice. For instance Bloed got to meet Kamila. The duke who used the blight for power , got killed by his son who also uses the blight. The city lord , of the first city that Bloed visits after the exiled lands, tries to rob and kill Bloed and in the end his entire family gets killed. Moreover the racist, supremacist humans at the three-way battle got their whole team killed. So I think it will continue like that. Maybe the price that Bloed will pay won't be that big but might just inconvenience him. Since you know he is the MC and he gets bonus karma.
What a tragedy this family was... But I've seen worse... It would be an irony if the 'technology' Bloed trying to promote would greatly help the 'blight-obsessed' organisation and achieve a breakthrough in their plans with the one of the main goals of Bloed is the annihilation of the said organisation
This is probably a decision that would make many regret in the future when they are more mature and understand the circumstances of things, even in the real world, in countries like mine, some parents choose to give their children for adoption because they cannot support them and there are certainly cases of reconciliation between them. Well, I understand bloed, mainly because of the king, but I think the queen is still a case apart, mainly because he doesn't have that much power in front of a king.
So i felt the result was very organic, i love the fact that bloed is mature enough to look at the situation objectively and logically and realize that there were reasons behind his exile. And i like the fact that he still has such intense feelings of abandonment and betrayal, cause that wont go away quickly. As for forgiving his birth mother, if that happens at all, it needs to be after a long period of time interacting or she needs to do something massive for forgiveness. Now here comes my plea author... if it actually comes to the kingdom of alternia fighting with bloed please please do not make it something that can be swept aside with Eve and regina’s power or bloed’s technology. Im all fine for those helping the situation but please dont let it be something that can be swept under a rug and not taken seriously by specifically bloed and regina. For example the king, i cant remember exactly where, but im pretty just like it stated with Eve and Wave that he was one of the strongest demigods in the world. Id personally prefer it if he was actually stronger than both Regina and Eve. That way it would have to be something they take seriously. Basically what i want is something that forces bloed and his team, even if its begrudgingly, to respect the forces and powers their fighting against. I want bloed and regina both to feel a threat that they wont necessarily be able to fight against.
So I'll ask a question I brought up before: Eres feels an obligation to Alterna as its princess, and she said she didn't plan to stop being one. So what will she choose to do if/when the king orders her to kill Bloed? Will she renounce her royal title and go with her brother, or will she put the kingdom before him and do as ordered? The end result scares me.
I think Bloed's decision is justified, But I think King should come clean with his son, he is thinking of Bloed as an enemy which is one sided only where as Bloed want nothing to do with him. Even our nation leader knows when to compromise but from his perceptive as a king he only thinks of domination if he can't control it kill it and also none of his confident tell him to make up with his son directly or to compromise with him directly even simple sorry would have been good but no a king can't lower his head as it goes against his principles. But man as a father he should come face to face with his son and say sorry also ask for Bloed's intention of becoming his kingdom's enemy if not they go their on way not minding each other. For now I will leave it to the author. HAPPY WRITING 😀😀😀😀
I wonder if the security cameras are able to see through stealth [not sure if in this world stealth means true invisibility or just aversion to being seen by making your presence disappear to those around you](if so it would be funny to see bloed tell the assasin how he saw him before killing the assasin)
