Yes.. The Author has a straight suspended mood against the protagonist. Yes, he is not the best, but if the author wants to improve it you need to HIT HIM VERY THE BRAIN! But I don't understand how much, if you overdo it, you get a Villain. Or he wants it to be disappointed (in Midoria) and he can take away his quirk somehow. That would be COOL!

I think author is blackening One for All.
