Keeping my interest so far means good in my eyes the only really thing that caused me to skim through was the fact that he seems to over explain what happened and how he did it, maybe shorten how he explains In more of a summary, a passing statement or maybe while it was happening like the whole bee thing maybe add in the details while he was thinking too himself or something idk but good work
it is above average so it's good, the main problem to me is that you don't explain enough the context, why is this girl spying on mizuki, how mizuki figured it out even the the way it get ride of the bug. The same with his fishes i dont get how he made them and for what purpose. It might be the fact that im not native english but i think if you take more time to present the situation maybe in third pov it can be better. Voila just my opinion i hope you continue you story tho its nice to read.
Author San it is fantastic but all ready the mind games are high level. You must explain them to common people. Also another question why spying only on Mizuki . There are only two reasons: 1 They spy on all ninja (not possible due to large number) 2 They are suspicious of Mizuki (if so why since he is shown as cautious)
