I feel like it's better to say that he's mentally unstable due to his lack of social interactions and goals. The amount of dependability he has for light by the fact that she's the only one he can trust and look to for guidance at the moment causes her words have a more direct impact on him adding on to his lack of purpose or motivation for improving he is now like a doll moving with no desire and only cause they are told to do so. Him crying is because he most likely realizes this to an extent but still lost in what he should do for himself besides training. Ofcourse this is just my view on it since he still a kid in a new world and the only thing to accompany him is a system which is loyal to him and has only been helpful during this time both emotionally and physically only to be told that he has been on a path of self destruction.

I really did not like the reaction of the hero to the words of Light and his absolute trust in her. Still, telling a person that he has cancer or that he will “break” if he continues to train is completely different. Not to mention the fact that Light spent his points and made decisions for him. But worst of all, it reminded me of another fanfiction, where the hero gathered a huge harem, but was still a “broken” man and the girls “protected” him. It got to the point that they even made a schedule when they could be with him. I sincerely hope that this **** will not be here. If I wanted to read this, then I returned to that fanfiction, where there are more than 1300 chapters, and I read only 400+.

This is too random. A person's personality is literally shaped as they live and the experiences they go through. Saying he'll change or break is literally going against how a person's personality even comes into being. People grow and adapt, that's how life is. All creatures are that way. So making it like he'll break or change into something new that is a problem of some kind, that really shouldn't exist. That's literally all growing up is. Changing to adapt to a new social environment based on where you place yourself in society at different ages with different responsibilities. Welcome to what is known as growing up and no longer being a child.
