It went full circle back to the beginning. When they were dating in college, the plan was for him to be her laywer while she did her protesting/helping others. But things happened. So, now he dropped his CEO position and went back to her and became the team they said they would be in college. They can start Off where they left off. Or so He hopes lol. A second book would be cool but I enjoyed the ending also. In my mind, they have a happY ending😉
Maybe is my concept of what is love. There is no excuse, even if he was misleaded for the video and the knowledge that her father caused his accident, still there is no excuse for all the time he abused her emotionally, mentally and sexually, for the times he raped her. That was horrible to read. Later he changed, but the situation with the Gu corporation and later his amnesia were elements that made her suffer again. Is it worth? No, for me is not worth to suffer like that in the name of romantic love. Though nobody is perfect and we all experience a kind of suffering or sadness with some situations in marriage, what she experienced was so wrong that is not worth to be in that relationship. It is important forgiveness, but to forgive someone that doesn't mean the continuation of a relationship There are lot of good guys, why to hold on in just one? The novel has an open ending and lead the people to think that they will end together. But in my imagination they work together and create a beautiful friendship where both fulfills their goals and close completely their cycle as a romantic partners. She falls in love with other guy and lives a happy life. This is my perfect ending.
