He separated his son and the maid, probably because she is not from a important family and only a maid (but I don't know, she seems pretty crazy. So maybe the grandfather see in advance she would be a problem, but still he make huge mistake). Is evident that the half - sister is the product of action of the grandfather. He stop searched for the legitim granddaughter and brought in the illegitimate granddaughter. Educate her for be his heiresses for three years and then throw away like trash. I understand he feel guilty for stop the research, but you know the maid is a sociopath (I don't believe he doesn't know what persone is and that she is crazy. In three years he have time to understand the type of persone the maid/ex-lover of his son is), why would you let your granddaughter, your blood, return to her to be mistreated. If you don't want her to stay with you because she make you remember her mother and assassin's of you son, you can at least make sure she is not live with an abusive mother. You can let a child (I want to point out this very important detail: she is a child of EIGHT YEARS OLD (she was in the past life and also now for the grandfather she is only a child)) be sent in a college abroad or I don't know some were she can be loved and have a future. You can't believe that after you treated someone like trash you will not receive consequences. I pity the half-sister. I don't appreciate what she had done, but I can't say I don't understand why she is like this. Is not like she was born "the evil witch". She was created by a sociopath and abusive mother (I can't believe the mother make sure the daughter is raped by men, like this is a very comune method to educate a child), an assent father (I don't know but don't think he is the best man ever. But I don't know, is only speculations) and a cruel, without scrupul and idiotic grandfather (who the hell send the hands of a maid to a eight years olds child only because this make a prank. Come on! We know she is recarneted but he don't. The thief incident can be see like a child prank because is gelose of the new child. Also why would you want to cut off the hands of the maid when you are the first who don't believe in your granddaughter? I understand she make a mistake, but is not a good reason for ruined her.) 🤔 I would love to see the two sister make pace and the half-sister have a good ending. Because I don't think she would be in this way if she had someone, like the protagonist has, to protect her and love her. This doesn't mean I am okay with what she does to the protagonist. But we are again at the some point in every story and also in real life: a woman is not angry with the man who betray her, but to the woman with who he betray her. She probably see the culprit for everything in the sister because the real culprit is too strong for her. She has too fear to tell herself that the people who should have protect her (her father, mother and grandfather) have all betray her and treat her like some trash who they can use and then throw away. So she take revenge on the persone who doesn't do anything to her, but is a easy prey.
