Must be a tiny university. I could not imagine running into one of my instructors on my college campus, let alone being corrected by one outsideof class. Apparently college students in the East are still treated like children. Being allowed to work or not? Very different from Western University system. Also, cannot understand: 1) why everyone is up in each other's business to even know who has a scholarship ; 2) why other people would be concerned with it or discuss it; 3) how receiving a scholarship could be a source of ridicule instead of a source of pride in accomplishment? Another interesting cultural difference.
