Im getting a really bad feeling about about future chapters. The novel is slowly moving towards the super nationalism that some webnovels have on this site, when it used to be pretty clear of blatant nationalism.
They are just venting their anger for corona on this site along with the recent human rights struggle in China's many regions also add this to the problem cuz what is written is not that much true , many Chinese don't have high patriotic feelings for their country but they have no choice but to write it. Many natives of theirs just do it for their families, patriotism, that is. Another example would be of messing with religion in India or just not respecting national anthem in any crowded place
Pizzavu:It isn't obviously wrong in any way though? Every country has a(t least one) different culture and thus different tastes appealing to the audience. Not everything praising their country has to be nationalism either if that's what you're going for. There is established and logical reasoning and it really isn't putting down anything or putting anything up on a pedestal. I apologise for talking so much but I'm just annoyed by all the comments I've been reading recently in this novel, as if they hate China and any mention of it is unreasonable fanaticism... my English is not good.
Im preparing for the worst in this novel, those few lines about westerners only writing tasteless novels make me feel like theyre belittling the efforts that me and other readers go through to further understand chinese literature as a whole, and the writers in this site that try to write xianxia and wuxia based novels using the knowledge they gained from years of reading and learning.
