honestly these chapters are pumping out slow af. I know it's hard writing a bunch of different novels but of it's gonna be long series, like 1000 chapters, that's not gonna happen for about 3 years on a 3 chapters a week base

Why did they have to accept the duel in the first place? If Monk was so unconfident about Ray participating and potentially automatically winning against anyone - including Monk himself (as he wasnt excluded from the fight before the new condition), then what’s stopping Ray from just killing them all? Surely the top fighters from their side could at least defend themselves when Ray himself just kills them? Especially with Noir there to assist. There’s nothing really stopping Ray from just wiping out a chunk of the enemy fodder anyway. A number of weaklings really stand no chance against someone so strong. Their number advantage means nothing when Ray can remove that almost instantly.
