Wait, I just had a realisation. Remember waaaaay back at the beginning when Ray named Noir. It was said to be named after a dragon friend of his. Noir means black, shadows are black / grey. Ray also has vague memories of knowing a black dragon.... maybe the black dragon was the original Noir and now the leader of the Shadows.

This was a good book I enjoyed reading it up until Ray just teleported away with the shadow ant and magically evolves to almost a dragon. Its like hes just wrapping everything up because its not as good.

man this author is just rushing at this point. he doesn't have the Mc investing into the so called friends and family he wants to protect. it's completely contradictory to the rest of the whole story. ......come on man.
