I think this is memories of a past life, possibly the first celestial/ chosen one pair. And, as we've seen, those with red hair and green eyes are those with imperial blood. Also, celestials tend to favor those with imperial blood. My theory is that the reason the celestials favor those of the imperial bloodline is not because of the nobility, but because of the first pair. Between Snow and LanRan, maybe they are the reincarnation of those originals, and that's why the instant connection from birth/ creation? Idk, I feel like it must be both of them in the past, because I'm unreasonable and don't want this to mess with my otp lol. Otherwise, at the very least this is Snow's past life, since this celestial also had silver hair.
