What was Alexa’s plan with the witches visiting anyway? It seemed half baked from the start but she seemed so confident that I thought the genius would eventually be revealed. Instead it seems she has no idea what she’s doing. Even if she had been healthy, or if Gutard were there, what would that have changed?

Its all Alexa's fault. She didn't have any solid plan, and just invited Cordella and her witches straight to their castle, knowing it's dangerous ...and more so she should be more responsible, as it's not even her body she's harming. Stupid girl! Sorry for ranting, I am frustrated with her at this point. But I am loving the story so far :)
