I am curious as well....why the Oracle is "castrated" in this Ordeal....Is it because of the destruction of nodes ...orAas can no longer shelter the burden/stretched too far after 5 years...or because the Mirror Universe has been backed into a corner by constant defeats against other Mirror Universe's.... or all of the above???
I think you forgot the 2nd condition for the Ordeal to be successful...your allies must be more than the opposing Mirror Universe's...1)if Jake is the only one left that may be victory..but a pyrrhic one2)even if he's allies are more..the losses that may occur isn't something that might be beneficial...since the amount of Oracle players having high rank as well as capabilities and the future that they might have...why gamble...with all aforementioned consequences ..when you can have a victory but polish your diamonds as well
OD_NM:What if it's all because of Jake. I mean, why would Aas bother to waste his wealth when victory is almost guarenteed due to Jake being too OP for his rank and also his uniqueness (does not need Oracle's Path and enemy's Oracle Path does not work on him). That amount of Aether can be efficiently spent elsewhere
I ihink things were bad ..even before the death of the Ancient designer ..After the end of his 4th Ordeal.. Jake while waiting the steele to reset...in order to get his 2nd soul profession...Ancient Designer said that many will come to add on the steele additional selections...if you focus after the selection from Jake.. while he is questioning the dean..which was his selection..its slips that the were preparing him the "Child of the Mirror..." , universe I add..signaling that things were bad and the were gambling/hoping that with this selection Mirror Universe would get more favorable results/wins in future ordeals???...we still haven't learned what is the impact/importance of these Ordeals...after the 4th..but it's seems that the Ordeals...at least at this point are more important/equally important with the digestor threat... luming over the horizon...
