Glad that you spoke about that Ark, it's mindblowing how people think they would act with a ton of rationality during something like that. I love how your characters have flaws, because they feel like real people that way

if I was Kyle I either wouldn't do anything and realy on Jake if I trusted him, if I didn't then I'd probably do what he did and try my hardest to kill the guy and save my family even if I ended up dead

I agree I would likely act similar, however it just seems like we just got rid of one irrational and annoying character with a habit of disobeying Jake's orders to picking up another in less than 10 chapters, albeit one with decent reason.

Ey the Author's Notes really served as a wake up call huh. I guess you're right, we could all be self aware but still be idiots lol.

Each person's circumstances are different, which makes us apathetic or without feelings or as unreasonable when someone close is hurt

Everyone's reaction will be different. Maybe if I were in the place of Kyle and manage to hold myself until others gave the signal to act, I would still messed up as I think I would be too enraged to think properly in combat.

Hope the felines get to eat this digestor after defeating it. haha.
