I have never like a drug addict in the novel, except now. He was carefully written to annoy everyone but also somehow reliable when it matters. people just have to know how to handle him well!

When they get down there.... Jake's gonna have a hard time restraining himself so, I'm thinking more True Will points? Maybe something different, if he can stay in a meditative trance or at least semi-concious state with his soul glygh the entire fight to the artifact. Maybe with the lv3 tribute skill and his Aether core on max Absorbtion mode maybe his spirit body can outgrow the corruption, depending on the environment down there adding in a passive body strengthening with the excess fluid in his cells.... I won't say it'll be a HUGE jump forward but, increasing at a speed that'll keep him in the fight instead of his instincts going feral. Idk man I'm just hype. Gotta wait till tmr to see tho.
