And here comes a skeleton to add even more mysteries to mysterious Reed family. I wonder which restaurant did Mr. Burton mentioned, if it is the place where Louise mentioned to Graham before changing it into the lake, then it is gonna be messier. Who is the culprit? who is the ghost? whose is the skeleton? whose shadow was behind the door listening to Graham and Louise? who killed the killer? mysteries over mysteries......
Wait the restraunt that burnt down is it the pearls restraunt? Or maybe I’m wrong but there is so much happening right now, and also my theory about that skeleton could be lisa’s was wrong becuase I thought about it and lisa has been buried somewhere far and it has been a long time ago since she passed away and the scary things that started happening to louise happened before any of the corpses could be moved to the manor yard. so my theory has been debunked but what is really important is that who the corpse belongs to?!
Oh, dear, I was even reading a manhwa while reading this. 😆 Mr. Burton is kinda out of the way doing his job right here. I mean he's got to check every possible evidence that he has and inspect it thoroughly; not just making his conclusions final. For sure, if Louise did tell him how she was able to find the skeleton, he wouldn't accept it that she had been guided by a ghost, and worst she will be deemed as crazy. I certainly hope that the mossy skeleton won't go missing as it's being left momentarily; as every piece of clue that's been found by Louise goes missing (like the last will by Nelson Reed, intentionally?). Whose skeleton could it really be? What I can think of is it may be a Lestrange, based on the heavy moss covering. With that letter for Lisa that Louise hasn't informed of it yet to Mr. Burton, she'll get into a tight spot. Because that could serve as evidence for Lisa's case but Graham will be put in jeopardy here, as his handwriting is in it denoting that he had written that letter, but turned out he wasn't the one who made that letter. Just a piece of my mind here. 🤯🙄 But I do hope the mystery of this ghost that keeps appearing to Louise would be found out soon what it has been meaning to tell and wanting to show to her. 😐
This is getting really messy and I can't say anything about it. Either skeleton relate to past owner or for Reed's it won't erase that, the ghost cause this to happen. Maybe the ghost purpose wasn't actually to kill Louise but to make her aware of the body in lake. 😐😐 If this isn't the case then we should expect that the skeleton would be disappear, too. And I'm really worried about Mr. Burton and I don't know when we get the news of his death.😢 poor Burton, you got yourself tangled in a really messy and mysterious thing God bless your soul.
i bet the restaurant that burnt down is the one she mentioned wanting to go to when she saw the shadow, before changing her mind to go to the lake. Any bets? I'm going to throw out my own hypothesis out there for fun. The last true inhabitants of the "Reed" manor were the LeStranges. The Reeds are all dead Graham included. the manor is actually dilapidated. A spell has been cast to make it look as if it's still in all it's glory. The Reeds ghosts have taken on human bodies to find out who is behind their murders. When people find out about them they get rid of them and move, thus also moving their deads bodies. That's why they have moved 3 times. Also, why no one can explain truly any of the deaths now or the past. They are all some how in one way or another mysterious. I'm sure I'm waaaaaaay off, just a working theory,, too many books of this genre read. lol
So engulfed in this chapter. Not to scary but increase my curiosity. Let's say there's two ghost. One being Lisa appearance, and other one we don't know yet but always looks bad. Might it be another ghost burn that place and "Lisa" ghost accompany Louise to show the skeleton? What does it's intensions?
