Ahhhhh, I love the mood that is starting to happen between them- the vulnerability of Ira, the dedication of Silas. I also love how you write about the change in Ira's mentality, it's very calming, much like the mood between them. This chapter was so good at building the mood, the feeling is so warm???

I think it's more like, the 'kill everyone' mood just isn't as fun anymore? Like, it no longer brings the satisfaction that it used to in comparison to his time with his two companions- Amanda and Silas. It seems to have just been a gradual change too, nothing too drastic.
