Oh boy, Greek mythology! A divine system I'm actually familiar with, as opposed to Chinese mythology which I'm really not. I said this in another comment as well, but my prediction is that the existence scarier than the Titans is Gaea, the Titans' mother.
They didn't mention the mountain being Olympus, so it could be more than just the Greek Pantheon - City of the Gods. I guess that golden god race trident wouldn't have any relation to them.
