151 FLOWERS FOR YOU

"Let's go, Dariantha. We are going to be late!"

I looked at him, then I gave him a sweet smile. "Just wait. I'm not yet done," I told him.

Yeah, I told my brother to come with me because I'm really so nervous for this day. And I was so happy when he agreed to it. You see, he's really very supportive, right?

"He will still like you, even if you are ugly," he winced.

I darted a glare at him. "Just shut up, will you?"

"Yeah, yeah, just hurry." He left my room after he said that. I looked at myself in the mirror for one last time before I got my bag and followed him.

Today is the day that I will meet the not-so-anonymous man, which Mom believed as my suitor. Imagine, he's giving me different kinds of fresh flowers every day. Who wouldn't be happy with that effort, right?

"I'll go now, Mom." I kissed Mom's cheek.

"Don't be too excited, Dari. You are not sure if he is really going," Mom chuckled. "Take care, Dari." She waved her hand to me before I went to my brother's car.

I caught him staring at me. "What now, Dalton? I thought, we're going to be late?"

He shook his head. "Nothing. I just did not expect you would be that excited."

"Oh, come on, Dalton. Of course, I'm excited! I cannot wait to see him!" I shrieked.

He whispered something, but I did not hear it before he drove to the garden. Yes, we are going to a garden. But the most beautiful garden here in Batangas, Philippines. I looked at myself again on my phone while we were on the road.

When we arrived, I was about to open the door when Dalton spoke. "I hope it will not disappoint you when you see him, Dariantha."

My forehead twitched. "What do you mean, Dalton?" I did not understand what he said. How come he would tell me those words even if he doesn't know him, right?

He sighed. "Nothing. Just go." I excitedly opened the door before I went to the middle of the garden.

There, I saw a table with food. I roam around my gaze, trying to find the man, but he was not there yet. After a minute, I finally saw a silhouette of a man walking towards my direction.

"Hi, Dariantha." His voice stunned me. It's familiar! But I was more stunned when I saw his face.

I pointed at him unbelievably. "Y-You?"
