If this story is in anyway realistic, Landon's priority is to keep the charade of being a nobody as long as possible, use everything,abuse the system, in this case abuse the memory edit function as much as possible to buy time! Realistically, big battles should be when the charade is no longer possible. Deception and presence is Landon's greatest advantage right now, and it would be the height of stupidity to lose it when it can still be used. Manipulate those two to do something stupid to occupy the prince's attention,release the prince's secrets and info. Give wrong information,deceive the world if needed. Fake a betrayal, create a non existed important enemy. Keep their attention away from his general direction since it was said there was no value in his area.Just make sure that nobody will suspect that Landon can manipulate people's mind and memory. In fact, if the prince is gone, the other sibling may just forget him altogether.

I would suggest a type of armor for the knights it's a German armor that can take musket shot at less than 10 meters on horse back charging. I can't remember the name of it or the name of the knights but look up knight armor vs musket on YouTube and you'll be fine.

Super duper controversial topic: Author, do you know what the akashic record is? Give the citizens access to that and you will have citizens with the mind of ATLEAST people like Einstein,Tesla,Ramanujan,Picasso,and many more. Dont worry about people not being able to handle the knowledge. There is a "librarian/guard" so to say that keeps the knowledge. It will help the people to not abuse it. It will not give people the knowledge if they cannot handle it, and will guide the person to become mature enough to do so. The brain is not just a pc,it has a internet connection that lets you download and upload what ever you want. Think of the akashic records like a cosmic internet that contains all possible information. The people can even download skills,so what takes years of practice can be done in an instant. There are many (millions) people who access the akashic all the time like we do with the internet. Fun fact: we can store unlimited amount of data in our body. Unlike google which has limited spaces. The brain is only a key for the memory not the actual storage itself. In fact, the memory may actually be stored in the empty spaces of brain or in between the brain structure.
