I’m slightly surprised that the locals didn’t have the hoe

I'm so confused at this point.....the people dont have hoes, saws, nails, etc. But they have equipment precise enough to make semi-auto pistols. They barely have the foundation to make pickaxes but they have a fully functional steel manufacturing industry to supply what they need. They didnt even invent a good kiln yet but they have steel. Semi auto was absolutely impossible with gunpowder due to its large amount of fouling(basically guns go dirty far to quickly, gas ejection was not possible due to this). Hopefully a lot of these come up as mistakes the MC finds out later when his **** goes horribly wrong.

Too bad he didn't have access to a running river to make a water mill. Since he's next to the ocean there should be enough wind for Wind mills. This can be used to power mills for wood or grain processing.

I usually go up to chapter 100 before making a decision. Right now I'm like 30/70

In my honest opinion, this is a different world...that he compares to eras that happened on earth... so we should have in mind that everything that may happen in this century on earth is probably not happening here.
