It's actually not so surprising that your story is quite popular, it's well written with a lot of emotions and motivations. I also think, if you could keep up with this quality and post more often like every day to every 2 days, i don't doubt you could get in the top 50. Enjoyed the story so far.

My favourite part in this chapter was the "It was so cute" after the description of the deer carcass. I died and went to heaven. That was lit. Isko. What can I say about him? Another of Sophie's comrade/pawn in the making (?). I have a question though. There is a small snippet wherein it's mentioned about children victims of trafficking among many more things and Isko acting it out, faking it. Was he one of those trafficked children? Or a result of those women going missing from those areas?

like that Sophie set up Isko as potentially safe to Leon, a possible ally, who gets it. And warned him at the same time, while proving her own radar. Multitasking.

I keep thinking about the thing Sophies dad used to say about what you can eat ... Koalas probably wouldn't be the best idea their diet consists entirely of eucalyptus and that is very toxic to humans when ingested but a good way to kill some of the creeps off assuming there are koalas are on the island

Author I really love your writing, each character, each line and paragraph evokes emotions, thoughts and just wow. I don't think I can read novels of lower quality anymore after I finish yours because I tried to start a different novel after yours and something felt amiss (not to throw shade on other authors of course) but your writing is just that good😅 I'm actually an aspiring writer and I hope I can write compelling stories like yours one day too
