Hello again, nice work so far keep it up. Can I just ask one favor and that is please don’t make the story too long, people might get a case of ‘arc fatigue’ otherwise. It’s fine if you want to have a few more volumes, just know when to bring it to a conclusion at some point is all I’m saying. In a future story, might you consider making the protagonist a little more likable than Sharpe was at the beginning of this one? Would it be possible to have this story last a few years in that world? I just think it might be interesting to see the girls grow up some more (except Rory who’s a Demigod). It would be interesting to see Sharpe learn to accept the fact that Selina is growing up as well, and learn to accept it. Shouldn’t every parent prepare him/herself for the time when their kids become adolescents the moment their kids are born? They have to know that they got to grow up someday, right? Could you please make sure that the girl’s boyfriends will be reasonably nice guys in this story? Also contrary to what Sarah said could you please make sure that Sharpe doesn’t get violent or shoot any of those potential boyfriends? This will signify that Sharpe is growing up a little more, and that he trusts the girls. I’m not asking for any spoilers but I’m curious as to what other adversaries there will be beyond the Empire? Are they all going to be human, or some of them a different race? I remember something about the gate opening and a very dangerous Alien race of bugs coming into this world. I know that there are other continents out there but I don’t know anything beyond that. There is also another original Gate series involving the naval aspect of this world and the other continents, but I haven’t read it, or seen an English release of it. Clearly the life of a service member (soldier) isn’t for everyone as this series clearly shows, am I correct? I know that I definitely couldn’t do it, my mind is too sensitive to loud noise much less all the danger, how about you? I suppose it takes a certain kind of person to do this type of work doesn’t it? I just hope the girls namely Selina and Leilei will pursue less dangerous professions in the future, ones that don’t involve life or death situations that is. I’m sure that Sharpe I wouldn’t want them to end up like he did, being a jerk and PTS now would he? Not every person who suffers a bad experience and suffers from PTS turns into a jerk like Sharpe did do they? Is it possible to hold onto your humanity and stay reasonably nice even if one were to experience the same things Sharpe did? I mean everyone is different, right? Just look at Selina, I mean she went through a lot as well, but she didn’t let those experiences make her mean the way Sharpe did, now did she? Maybe she’s a stronger person than he is, I mean on the inside? You have shown us examples of people who are worse than Sharpe, but is it possible that there are people that are better than him in some ways? You know the saying, there’s always someone worse, and there’s always someone better.

There have been some interesting developments in this series. I’m really glad that Emily is a reasonable person who can put her personal biases aside when it matters. She wasn’t about to deny people the right to have *** was she? I agree with the plan to phase out slavery, in a light novel series I’m reading the protagonist does the same thing in his own kingdom. It’s probably the best idea considering the economics involved. What sort of employment are the former slave holders going to have? Are they going to be managers or employers of some sort? In regards to mineral rights, I hope this won’t be a one way deal in which we help extract minerals but leave nothing for them to develop their own kingdoms or territories? You probably know how Europeans exploited parts of the world from South America to Africa in search of Minerals and other riches (diamonds). They didn’t exactly give anything back to those people, or allow them to use it for their own use now did they? They also exploited the people of those parts of the world for slave labor. We can certainly learn a lot from those examples, don’t you agree? I mean this still their world and they have a right to use their own resources to help themselves do they not? Our help is necessary right now, but at some point they will probably learn how to do it on their own, right? Since you have shown the role of gods in both worlds, do you plan on revealing the existence of souls as well? If all living things have souls, then where do they go after leaving their bodies? Do they all go the same source regardless of which world they live on, or are there different afterlife’s for each world? When Rory mentions how she absorbs the souls of those she kills it seems to hint to the existence of souls is what I mean. I hope that Emily will be able to persuade the American people that the people of the other world have their own customs and to just accept it? Surely our people should’ve expected this world and it’s people to different from our society, correct? As you have shown, if the people of that world are going to compromise and change some things then so must we. It has to be a two-way street, we shouldn’t use morality and dictate it to them. We should’ve at least tried seeing things from the perspectives of the peoples of this new world when we first came here, so why didn’t we? We’re supposed to be educated people so there’s no excuse for that oversight or lapse in judgement on our part. Emily made a serious mistake when she rushed for peace without having a more complete picture on the ground. So she rightly must bear much of the blame for what happened, isn’t that right? I hope that Sharpe, Emily, and all the other NATO personnel will be more open minded from now on. While we might call the Empire people savage for the ways in which they conduct themselves, case in point Philadelphia. We should remember that we used to do the same things in the not so distant past, isn’t that true? Furthermore we must ask ourselves if we are any less barbaric than they are. Let’s not forget about the Holocaust and all the various genocides that we did to each other (on earth). Not to mention the millions who lost their lives in the world wars, and all the other wars combined. I don’t think even the Empire killed nearly that many people in all of it’s wars of conquest? Also don’t forget that it wasn’t so long ago that African Americans were lynched and hanged from trees or lampposts isn’t that true? Shouldn’t that make us savages as well? It seems to me that people like Sofia are so wrapped up in their own hatred towards them that we forget that we weren’t so different from them at one time? Like I said before “look to thine own eyes first” and we probably won’t like what we see, will we? While we might not like how the Empire and others discriminate against Demihumans, we did the same things to each other, and still do in some ways.
