It's not often we see Jia Hyson's past actions affect his current work, but I do think this is the first time one of the authors referenced another beta'd story in this way. In any case, the activation of the low-level psychotic break and Jia Hyson's involvement has really given Alaric a fierce and intimidating personality. Good to see that Rigel and Silas are playing nice (for now). At the very least, they will he able to restrain one another, but at the same time, their posturing will likely get on Alaric's nerves. It's only a matter of time before we reach the tipping point -- and the main characters haven't even shown up yet! Anyway, thanks for the chapter!
