You are right author. Not all people can support themselves when things go wrong . One of my friend was like that and she got hurt a lot because of it. I am normally someone who keeps to themselves because I feel better like that but sometimes even I don't feel like being alone.

I can appreciate what you have to say about the mother. I'm actually pretty surprised that people disliked her so much, especially when compared to the dad, who not only cheated but even had a second family. To be honest though, my mom went through a slightly similar situation- just that she had no one to rely on. If a nice guy came along and was able to help her carry her burdens until she could get back on her feet I would have supported it wholeheartedly. Even the strongest people can't be strong, independent, etc., 100% of the time. It wears you down eventually. I think the mother character was very realistic and well done. Her character might be a bit mild and dependent, but she wasn't a terrible person. The dad was definitely worse than she was by a lot, but I also found that to be pretty accurate, based on some stories and situations I've heard about/experienced. I'm glad you took the time to write our your thoughts. It's really nice to see some of what went into the creation of these characters. I'm excited to see what will happen with this new world and temporary system. Thanks for the chapter!

Yeah I saw some of those comments. I just ignore them because I am too lazy to argue with people like that. Have see too much like that in real life. For example there is this businessman that cheat on his wife yet when the wife openly tell the reason why she asks for divorce (the cheating) some people blame her, saying 'you shouldn't airing the dirty laundry think of your husband's business'. The audacity. Wow. So yeah. Anyway thank you for taking your time explaining, I can tell you really do your research and you do pour your heart into your character.

I enjoyed the author's note (honestly I enjoyed the whole chapter, just like every chapter you write) I like the idea of writing flawed characters. Nobody in any world is perfect

That was some nice saying you said in the last part you need to have realism in your story to make people draw to it and also that they can relate to it. If something is to perfect or it happens to easily, it is easy to lose interest in such a story.
