As a writer for many decades (and a reader for even more!), let me tell you this: Be proud. Your story is fabulous. Be so proud of it. I'll honestly tell you that it is one of my few top favorites here. Raven's integrity, grit, wit, and the monogamy are the best. So infrequently can I read about intelligent, caring people doing good. Seriously, that's incredibly lacking in this arena. I even enjoyed the whole feel and heart of the story so much that I just breezed over the grammatical errors, and those usually are sour notes that stick out to me since I've also been an editor. I just want to compliment you on your work. Thank you for this enjoyable story. And I'll check the other out, too.
