Hope this arc will not end in a flunk... really starting to love this arc.

My guess is, she'd be freely using her flight magic. Taunt the dragon to her way then sweep to where the Golden egg is to recover it.

There are quite a few possible outcomes: 1) Rowan will glare the dragon into submission and casually walk in to scoop up the egg. 2) She will discover herself in possession of 9ne of Merlin's gifts, the ability to talk to dragons and explain the situation, then take the egg and fly off on it's back to the nearest body of water, have the dragon warm it to a comfortable state and listen to the message in the egg/ listen to the message in air, since she's somewhat learned in Mermish. 3) Use her dryad inheritance to calm the dragon before walking in and scooping up the egg. 4) use magic to incapacitate the dragon (while dragons are resistant to magic, they are not very resistant to a large rock enchanted with disillusionment dropping on their head and knocking them out.) 5) she'll keep walking, through the enclosure, out the other end and just keep going and going... and going
