I agree with your points. True, a Young Tom Riddle is, in a way, weaker in terms of knowledge and power but other than that, he is superior in everything else. Voldemort basically lost all sanity and became a literal madman. True, he has more knowledge and power but his mind isn't as comprehensive as his younger self's. So yeah, the irony. I do love the interaction between Rowan and Tom. Eileen is two years younger than Tom so it would make sense that Tom would be aware of her. They were both in Slytherin and she was a younger year. And we all know the metaphorical ranks in Slytherin House. Brilliant chapter as usual!
Dumbledore humoured Trelawney when he went to her job interview because she was descended from a seer. The fact that a prophecy was made was pure chance. The fact that snape heard some of it at the door was chance. I believe Dumbledore was just making use of her to try and make Voldemort go where he wanted. Everyone makes mistakes and Dumbledore has said that when he makes mistakes they wind up having much greater consequences than most others. The consequences of him not capturing snape the night was at least two families were torn apart. I don't believe Dumbledore is evil. There is just too much to be done to get rid of Voldemort completely and sometimes extreme measures must be taken. Dumbledore manipulates a lot of people and things, that I understand but it doesnt make him evil. People don't like being manipulated but if you think about it its actually not as bad as what many current governments do. It's just easier to hate one single person rather than an entire group.
Hmm, now that I think about it, Rowan would be at a disadvantage if she fights 2 or more Death Eaters and kills one of them. If she kills someone, she'd then have painful power ups while fighting the other/s. That's ********. đ± Luckily, atm, she's fighting one at a time. Amazing mc idea, btw. It's also refreshing as it's quite weary to read an OP mc.
