The crazy isn't faked. she keeps it under control but she has a rep. that's why Chenli freaked. crazy but skilled is a good way to put it. The brusque cold persona is the mask so that she can operate with others especially. if she's in charge
catvi:"she was playing up the crazy to pressure the FL" exactly this, it feels very out of line and out of place. It would be more interesting if she really was crazy (but good) rather than fake crazy from a story point of view? Her character feels like a confusing mess lol and not in a good way.
