The back story really isnt necessary, its not like she’ll become his lover or that she has a IRL counterpart. She’s just a set of data. Also Nix is not the academic type he doesn’t give a damn about an npcs backstory unless like I said she becomes his lover.

This is a virtual world, where virtual characters are being treated like regular people. You're completely wrong about Nix. Why is the Black Gate still bothering him? Why does he take the time to ask Hyai about her life? Or meet her daughter? Nix has accepted that the NPCs are people, in the same situation I would too. This isn't the first time background information was given. Morti, Shae, Beta and so on, please continue to flesh out these characters! I love it.
