Tbh.... from his backstory he doesn’t seem to be much of a jerk...she did persistently chase after him so that must have been sorta annoying. Also.... a single what seemed like a kiss to her was enough to destroy all the other good things between her and her “best friend” and “boyfriend”??? I dont get him. If he cared about her in his last life, why once they started dating did he not treat her well? Like yes, she chased him and that can be annoying but he agreed to date her at some point and instead of treating her well like he's doing now...he was indifferent towards her.
