Comments of chapter undefined of The date [twilight fanfic]

The story is amazing thus far, definitely gonna continue to read...just curious though, if Edward and Bella have crimson eyes in this story, doesn't that mean they are partaking in a human diet? Or bcuz its a fanfic, you just wanted them to have red eyes 🤷‍♀️ which I can totally understand too. Just wanted to know, to get a better read on the story.
