Its entirely Aarons fault for making it all so complicated in their former life. He should have just put this lacy or whatever into the same situation Mc got pushed into. "Accidents" happen all the time after all. It is only right for that lacy girl to die. As a powerful person revived, that would be the first i'd do. Eliminate all future trouble. I dont understand why he didnt do it yet.
it's very hard for a young person to overcome all of the ingrained behavior like Aaron went through with his parents. This shows a side of child abuse that most people don't even consider abuse. As sad as Keeley's perception of events is, Aaron is the one I truly feel the sorriest for. He is a product of his family's treatment of him from and extremely young age. Think of how even his extracurricular activities were chosen and scripted for him. That was an abused child, abuse takes many forms. Sounds like he wanted one person who loved him just for himself and tried to keep her as sheltered as possible from the machinations of everyone else's expectations.
I wish he would've told her the truth. After all they were married and he did love her. Trying to protect her the way he did was a huge mistake. It only caused heartache, misunderstanding and bitterness. He could've been honest with her, they could act like strangers in public but be a couple in private.
