Definitely needs editing. The writing style is a bit disconjointed and so far the mother is highly annoying and needs to stop acting like a hormonal teenager. The FL also should stop allowing her mother to act/do and say the things she does. Grow up...seriously.

I think her mom is kind of little unreasonable and annoying plus taking too much control over her daughter life

it would be better if the author can develop lady Chen's character more becoz she doesn't look like a kind mom but more like an authoritative one who doesn't really care much bout her daughter's opinions but her own

At least this mother loves her daughter and is doing her best for her daughter not to make the same mistakes she has done.

Her mother is a Looney carrying on like that so early in the morning. Did Longer I call his mother at 6am? Are these people nuts?

I think the mother is suppse to be a little crazy annoying and unreasonable here. It shows the broken home dynamics and overbearing bossy home that female lead comes from. that way she is very independent and does not trust her heart to others and is always watching the person with power in front of her ready to react to defend and pacify their stormy anger like she did her mothers angry 0730 outburst into her room. This is how she had to live as a child who had no power, so she cant just "grow up" and stop being like this suddenly. It seems she did learn to keep things to herself and solve her own problems relying on only her lonely self.
