well it's nice concept more of better way to keep the status of secrecy in the magic World. I think I know ur inspiration for the door to door teleportation thing if iam right it's the movie the adjustment bureau in movie the doors works by useing a hat which when worn helps the user go to different places it would be a good idea to add the same principle of floo network like telling the place u wanna go then people can ward there doors to block people or the doors open at a designated place which allows even more protection
was and still hoping for Alex and Ann as I feel they have a much better relationship then Alex has with Jessica. I mean the only reason Jessica has any interest in Alex is cause he is the top Ravenclaw student along with herself, which has been stated is similar to her parents they were the top Ravenclaw students and got married, so the same should be the same for them, If Alex was in any other house but everything else stayed the same they would not really have much if any interaction at all. while I feel Alex and Ann along with being actual friends have things in common, such as much the two like dueling and their sense of humor. I hope Alex starts looking into alchemy again soon.
