Seems like Zarin didn't want his way back to the good side..but at least there's a bit of conscience there, which means he's not as bad yet as Lothaire. I love how Lucian tried to get his way through him through words. Not forcing it all on Zarin, but making him realize what she is to him and what he is to her..and what he means to the family.I hope Zarin finds it in his heart to mend this friendship with Heaven. Though she shows her disgust, she trusts Zarin still despite everything. That friendship for years can't be taken away. Would he be able to help Heaven to the way out?(but then their thoughts can be known to Lucifer) Looking forward to his meeting with Zamiel...I trust her deliver the letter.š thanks for the chapter Jazzyš
aww this chapter was so sad to read...poor Heaven and Zarin. š„š I know they have to mend their friendship...they were always there for each other growing upā¤š Zammy love Heaven needs you as wellš„ we miss you. I am now anxiously waiting for tomorrow's chapter. Hopefully Zarin wakes up?? Thank you Jaz! š such amazing work!ā¤
Lothaire forces Heaven to come to the Kingdom only for his own plan and now he let it look like he did it only for Zarin?! So that he feels a little better now?? No wonder Zarin feels the way he does! I mean, he truly wanted to get rid of Zamiel and be with Heaven but not that way! It seems like he regrets it now. This is so evil! In real life there are so many people who are acting the same way. Give their guilt to someone else so they feel better for themselves... i always wonder if that actually really works... looking so much forward what happens next.
Way to go Lucian! Chipping away at Zarins resolve and reminding him, even if he refuses to see yet, of his own redeeming qualities as well as the depth of their friendship. All the things he really needs to be thinking of right now. Not to mention brilliantly strategic, perfect way to infiltrate by way of an ally. Getting good!!
