Okay an update for everyone. Eve has taken a week off to recover from the mental breakdown he was on the brink of. For those who havnt been able to tell the stresses of writing two top novels, churning out 5 chapters a day has taken its toll aswell as any real world stuff he has ongoing. For those complaining about privilege I ask you this. Would you rather spend 10 coins a chapter on dribble because that's all his able to produce or would you rather wait a week and then spend your coins on well written work? Yes it's a pain that it wasn't communicated to us via the app, but unfortunately that's the way things sometimes go, thankfully many are on the discord channel and have passed the message on. And my last point is this. Do any one of you, honestly feel you could put as much time and effort into writing a novel as captivating as his works, meeting the word counts required (I assume daily contract) and the chapter numbers promised without having a break, even on weekends? Have a little empathy. And to eve, in the very unlikely event you do read this, I hope the break helps and I'm glad you took the advice, even if you never read the advice in the first place. I hope this time is quality time and not because your life has thrown a curve ball. Rest well, write well and when you make your fortune from these awesome works, make sure you spend well on making your happiness.
Everyone is complaining about privelage chapters etc. lets be real , those coins wre only pennies at this point. if you’re complaining you shouldn’t be on this app. the amount of creativity that goes into making a work of art such as this can not be cranked out like an assembly line product . greedy spoiled rotten Americans . allow the Author to breathe, be greatful for the chance to experience the creative process of such a classic novel as it is written. consider the priveLage purchase a tip as a show of appreciation for the fact that the man has cranked out almost 2000 pages faithfully 3 a day since the inception of the story. and stop being ungrateful sumbitxhes .
Alot of us have been saying fro him take time off for awhile. Granted I'm always happy to see him writing, but its alot to write a long story. Most novelists take a year or two between books ranging from 500 to 800 hundred pages. My personal favorite Author, Jim Butcher(shameless simping, seriously go read him) took a 6 year break from his main series to do a few smaller projects and came back with two back to back books that collectively are still a lower page count than Botds. And Eve started another series in the middle of all that. I hope a week is enough, but really it should be longer. I'll be here when he gets back.
I hope everything is going well. I have been a fan for a long time, since before it ever hit 400 chapters. I have read faithfully every day and appreciate his work. I am x military and have had a brain injury due to events that happened during my service. I found reading to help solve most of the issues and will gladly wait to read his future chapters.
