I can't see how simply putting an item in your dantian can be called cultivation technique. I would rather call it something along the lines of 'resource consumption', I also don't see how this simple consumption can express his individuality as a proper cultivation technique, or how it can differentiate from other to techniques, I was hoping he would make a special cultivation technique that added something to his dantian just like certain body techniques do.
Well it already has several effects. First, he doesn't even need to cultivate since the ring acts as a passive cultivation technique leading to fast cultivation. Also the imbued will inside the ring removes the Heaven and earth will inside the breath giving him an endless stash of unrefined breath for his martial arts and spells. He doesn't need to depend on unrefined breath from his mind anymore

I don't really understand what a unique dantian cultivation method accomplishes. All any of them do is absorb breath of a specific element and compress it, just to do it again. Speed being one factor that may differ. But it all ends up ultimately the same imo. One difference I guess is the stripping of heaven's will from it, but I feel like he could do that while using a stronger method he didn't invent. And why is it, that none of the known methods do that? It's weird. If his unique method ultimately transformed the dantian in some way then I could see the benefit, but everyone's dantian cultivation pretty much the same, gas liquid, solid, repeat at higher purity.
Why is the main character still struggling with creating a heroic item? Didn't ivor say he completely gave up cultivation for artifact forging and in just 2 years created a heroic item? The main characters mind is an entire level higher, and has the Divine demon inheritance which makes him able to due calculation at an even higher level than a rank 4 mind. Does it require balance or something? Meaning even if he had a rank 5 or higher mind the will formed wouldn't make a difference without at least solid rank 3 breath?
