Are you telling me that he spent all that time looking to escape? Are all the people in the inner circle a prisoners.? It just feels like the MC was left stagnant like that for the story plot purposes tbh, otherwise he would have a wider advantage. Also he is a guard, not a training dummy, this just feels forced.

One year and half....if his mother didn't die, I think he should have already arrived in Academy. Instead she just made him a prisoner in this damn famiy

MC should have left the family and his mom the first time he was out of the family ground. If he escaped then his mom would not be tortured so much
