He got ripped off. Blessing stone has a way higher value than two non magical sabers and one martial art. Anything that can speed up cultivation training should be a priceless treasure. Unfortunately there was no way to keep it. Thanks for the chapter!
Honestly the situatio with the stone was done greatly, most main character invite trouble by having a tressure they cant protect but just do because of plot armor, but this mc has common sense and novel makes it feel like this **** is real lol
Bet his father interfered and decreased his reward. I refuse to believe that upper powers of his family would limit rewards to such an extent normally, yes it would never be a 1:1 exchange but it would at least be 25%.
My only problem with this book is that the MC didn’t take the Iron palm martial arts 😪 (then he would of had a problem with he’s sabers breaking) but that’s a personal preference and Martial arts style. This book is really quite good.
Love the time skips. So many novels would have chosen to write those three fights out in like a 15 chapter timespan or something. This **** is on point and I really hope it stays that way.
I agree that he was taken advantage of, however his master did the best he could given the situation. Being a basted of a concubine he will never get a fair shake from the main family.
all those people crying about the stone don‘t use their brain. Imagine you are MC. All of your group saw that stone. You either have to kill them and hide it from your master or you give up the stone.
