I for one love that the MC's powers are limited. I'm not too fond of fanfic where the MCs are given cringy overpowering ability like primal, chaos, void, and other abstract nouns some 8th grader picked up along the way. Ennit, the author does know all animals are intelligent... it's just theyre a different species from us so we just don't understand them. I mean the ability should just be able to absorb any animals ability.. for the second it's practically pointless you should have just gave it as a gift or not at all.
