For someone that does not go outside his stats sure grow slowly. I don't think he trained much, even before he started spending time reading. Remember Kakashi was a genin around his age. Maybe he had better training methods and better talent, but still even with that it would take him putting in the effort to reach that strength. Here all out mc is doing is practicing chakra control most of these 5 years and reading ever since he could, but his control is just 10. If he spends another 5 years, realistically his growth shouldn't jump unless the reason for such lame growth is a weak body. Compared to Kakashi who was a genin when he was 5 and chuunin when he was 6, this character was wasting his time

This arc has to be the cleanest child hood growth with the demon in Gaara

Will he learn any techniques he recalls from the anime? Rasengan for example should be easy to learn and would be quite powerful if enhanced with Shukaku's cursed seal technique.
