Also, I am reading everyone's comments and I am really happy to hear your thoughts about it. Morality is really an issue in these kind of stories. I would not defend my FL as I created her this way. Before starting the novel, I already invasion someone that is constantly walking in between being good and being bad. I wanted to create someone that makes us think. Someone that makes us angry, offended, happy, smile and maybe even cry. Like like real human being. I wanted to create someone imperfect, flawed. Someone who knows that she flawed. Someone who is aware. Seeing everyone's various reactions about Lily's character is honestly making me happy. This only means that I was able to portray the character that I want her to be. Now for my other novel lazily yours. I am having a hard time writing it. Because this lead is different. I am so used to writing about Lily and her evil schemes that writing about a lazy person is really hard for me. Hahaha... But anyways, I hope it will also entertain everyone. Guys, I am not intending to offend anyone. You know me, I am into leaving breadcrumbs and then connecting everything at the end. Please remember that this is just fiction. This is all in my mind. The Africa comment is just something that I wanted to drop because it is connected to resources and oil and petroleum which is where the story is going. I am trying to drop hints here and there about where we are going so I might mention other things in the future about other countries as well. If I offended someone, please forgive my ignorance. I am enjoying writing the novel so much that sometimes, I just write everything base on the plot. I hope you are enjoying my writing too. Much love, Blips
The thing is people can say stuff like Lily is too evil and going over the top because they haven't experienced the same thing as her. They haven't gone through the same pain and suffering as her, so they can only look at things from an outside point of view. If anyone went through the same thing as Lily, I don't think anyone would be able to stay calm. So no Lily isn't evil. Is she a good person? That's not the question we should be asking. "Is it fine to take revenge when you've lost something important?" The answer would again depend on the individual. Lily chose this path, but some people may chose the other path. To be silent and bare with the pain this whole time. Lily understands she isn't perfect, she isn't making herself out to be saint. She lives her life being honest, blunt, cruel - and not holding anything back. I personally think we need more people to be like this. 🤣🤣 @blips sorry for the essay comment 😂😂😂
Enjoying from Kenya in Africa... I know it's fictional but it's actually true and not offensive at all, most countries with very valuable resources not only in Africa but even the Middle East are poor because everybody wants a piece of the cake and that's where rebels comes from as they try to control the resources... For instance oil was discovered in Kenya in the recent years at a place called Turkana and when the government was ready to start extraction the leaders from there started mobilising people to riot and stop the work complaining about chinese contractors and not getting jobs or any benefits of the crude oil at the grassroots but really the work was just beginning job creation and benefits were on the way it's just that the leaders there didn't get anything from the government and if it was large scale am sure more rebellion would develop and the place would remain undeveloped since nobody would want to work there and maybe the US would end up sending troops in the name of peace and mine all the oil while at it leaving us as poor as before... Big up TheBlips I really love this book I keep checking my phone throughout the day and night anticipating the updates.
Dearest blips, The plot and characters are well thought out and are interesting. The storyline is smooth and we are able to understand how each character turned out to be way they are. Pls continue to write as how you have envisioned it to be because i have enjoyed reading this novel as it is so far :)
